Professor Philippe Moreau (Nantes University Hospital) joined virtually and discussed “Frontline Therapy of Transplant – Eligible Patients”.
Dr Alessandra Larocca (University Hospital Città della Salute e della Scienza, Torino) discussed “How I Treat Frail Myeloma Patients”.
Dr Rakesh Popat (UCH, London) outlined “Novel Immunotherapies for Relapsed Multiple Myeloma: working out how to use them”, followed by Dr Tony McElligott, The John Durkan Leukaemia Laboratory, (TTMI) who spoke about “Modelling Myeloma: Preclinical Drug Development”.
The second session of the day began with Chairs Dr Mark Coyne, Dr Irene Ghobrial and Dr Patrick Hayden, exploring “Cellular and Immune Therapies current practice horizons”.
Professor Michael O’Dwyer (University of Galway) then discussed “Glycosylation based immune evasion in Multiple Myeloma: rationale for sialidase armoured CAR-NK cells”.
